Sermon on "God Loves You More Than You Love Yourself"

God Loves You More Than You Love Yourself Sermon by Pas Kommu Sudhakar (1 June,2020) ROMANS 5:8 NKJ 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. God has proven His love for you. So don't doubt it. What proves that God loves you more than you love yourself? He died in your place -- suffering the punishment for sin that you deserved, so you could go free. God was more willing to suffer Himself than to see you suffer. Of course, the devil constantly tries to get you to doubt that God loves you. That's why you must rely on what the Bible says -- not what your feelings or circumstances may tell you. You may think you don't love yourself -- maybe you think you hate yourself. Even if you don't think too highly of what you have done, you still love yourself in the sense that you desire the best for yourself. You don't desire pain or loss. So it is with God -- He desires good for you -- even mor...

Pentecost Sunday Spl Message "The Explosive Power of Pentecost?"

The Explosive Power of Pentecost? Sermon by Pas G.Williams (31 May,2020) "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." — Acts 1:8 When Alfred Nobel discovered an explosive element that was stronger than anything the world had known at the time, he asked a friend and Greek scholar for a word that conveyed the meaning of explosive power. The Greek word was dunamis, and Nobel named his invention "dynamite." Dunamis is the same word that Jesus used when He told His disciples, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" ( Acts 1:8 ). In other words, "You shall receive explosive, dynamite power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Think about how this power transform...

Greater Is He Who Is In You

Greater Is He Who Is In You Sermon by Pas Kommu Sudhakar (30 May,2020) 1 JOHN 4:4 NASB 4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. There are two vital points in this verse, which is addressed to believers. (If you have not welcomed Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit into your life -- none of this applies to you until you make that decision.) FIRST, God is IN you -- not far off somewhere. Yes, God is in Heaven -- but that is not the only place He is. By the Holy Spirit, God now has His dwelling place in you! You don't have to "try to reach God." He is right there! What you need to do is to cultivate an awareness of His presence. This, along with communication, is the way to develop a closer relationship with God. Knowing that God lives in you, and that He loves you, should banish all fear from your life. Fear of failure should have no place. Fear of what other people think should n...

Life Can Be Tough

Life Can Be Tough Sermon by Pas.Kommu Sudhakar (29 May,2020) JOHN 16:33 ICB 33 "I told you these things so that you can have peace in me. In this world you will have trouble. But be brave! I have defeated the world!" Jesus never promised us that everything would be perfect here on earth. He recognized that we would encounter trouble. But His instructions were to be of good cheer -- not to let it get us down. As we encounter difficulties in life, it will help us to remember the big picture. First, God is our Father and has a wonderful eternal plan for us. We are His children and He loves us. Second, this time is but a training period for our future life with God. We are supposed to be learning to trust God and to obey Him. So, every problem we ever face is an opportunity to walk in faith and please God. Every problem is an opportunity to overcome with God's help. How can we expect to receive the blessings promised to the overcomer if we never have anything t...

Abraham's Blessings Are Yours Sermon by Bro Kommu Dayakar (28 May,2020) GALATIANS 3:13-14 KJV 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Galatians tells us Christ redeemed us, so that the blessing of Abraham might come upon us. What were the blessings Abraham enjoyed? GENESIS 24:1 NIV 1 Abraham was now old and well advanced in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way. GENESIS 13:2 KJV 2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. Abraham's blessing also extended to his descendants as they walked with God. GENESIS 25:11 KJV 11 And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi. GENESIS 26:12-13 NIV 12 Isaac planted crops in that la...
